Diane Atwood|Freelance writing and blogging
Do you have a story to tell, but don’t know where to begin? Important health information to share, but don’t know how to write it in a way people will understand? Do you need help writing a newsletter, a blog, or content for your website? Do you even know who it is you want to reach and what might be the most effective ways to communicate?
If you are in the health care field and need help communicating your message, talk to me! Not only am I an experienced communicator, I also understand the world and language of health care.
Best known for my skills as a broadcast journalist specializing in medical reporting, I also have an extensive health care background. For more than 20 years, I was the health reporter at WCSH-TV in Portland, Maine. After that, I managed marketing and public relations for Mercy Health System of Maine for nearly nine years. My health care career began at Maine Medical Center, where I was a radiation therapist and dosimetrist at the Southern Maine Radiation Therapy Institute. See my resume for more information.
As a freelance writer and blogger specializing in health and wellness, I am interested in sharing stories that will help people understand the complexities of health care, whether they are trying to improve their lifestyle, manage an illness, or navigate the system.
I am committed to providing engaging, easily understood, relevant information.
