Journalist and health policy expert Shannon Brownlee tracks this epidemic of overtreatment, reveals its causes and consequences and offers solutions in her book Overtreated: Why Too Much Medicine is Making Us Sicker and Poorer. Brownlee and a panel of Maine health care providers will discuss the implications of her findings with a statewide audience gathered online and at the Frontier Cafe in Brunswick.
